​COACHING STAFF

David Holmes
​David has been playing baseball since he was 5 years old.  He started his career playing Easton Youth Baseball.  He played for the Pirates, winning the championship 3 years in a row. David went on to play third base and pitched for Oliver Ames, where he was on varsity his sophomore, junior, and senior year.  During his senior year he had an ERA below 1.00 was named Hockomock League All-star and Brockton Enterprise all scholastic. In the summer David played for the Easton Post 7 legion team.  After his high school career ended, David went on to play four years of baseball at Bridgewater State University. Over his career at Bridgewater State University he threw almost 200 innings as a starting pitcher.  His senior year he was named team captain and was on the all conference team. David also spent his summers in college playing for the Easton Huskies in the Cranberry Baseball League.  He graduated from Bridgewater in 2016 with a degree in Physical Education/Exercise Science.  David is currently in school for his masters degree and is a fifth grade teacher.

Ryan O'Shea
Ryan O’Shea is entering his second year of coaching in the Shoveltown program. Ryan grew up in Easton and played for both the Easton Youth Baseball League and the Easton Babe Ruth program. He also played for a few AAU teams from around the area during high school. A graduate of Oliver Ames High School, Ryan was a four-year player on varsity and a two-year captain during his time there, earning Hockomock All-Star honors twice. He went on to play Division I collegiate baseball at Central Michigan University, where he graduated with a degree in exercise science. Ryan now attends MGH Institute of Health Professions where he is enrolled in their Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. Ryan is a young, energetic coach with a passion for the game of baseball. He is looking forward to fielding a hard-working, competitive team for the upcoming season.
